Ms. Gaither
Hello everyone! Some things that you might be curious about...
This is my 14th year teaching and every year has been in Kindergarten. I have three wonderful boys and their ages are 26, 23, and 14--Eric, Tyler and Devin. We have one cat-Zoe, she was adopted when she was two days old because her mom cat didn't want her. Now, she is a large healthy Maine coon cat. She thinks she should be the center of attention but, only when she wants to be. We also have a dog, Lucy is a mini doberman with big attitude and Zoe's best friend. We recently adopted a new puppy and his name is Toby, he is a German Shephard and recently celebrated his first birthday on June 30. We have a cabin/clubhouse in Oklahoma on the Arkansas River and we like to spend time there fishing, going to the lake, and relaxing on the back porch 'river watching'. When I am not a school I love to read in my comfy chair with a mug of coffee. My coffee usually does not resemble coffee when I am finished because I like to add creamer--softer coffee that feels like a good hug.
We had a tragedy September (2012). Frank, (Mr. Gaither) the love of my life and father to my children, had a blood clot in his leg on September 4th that traveled to his lung and after complications he passed away on September 12th. We still have some days that are hard, but we have a lot of great family and friends. Please keep us in your prayers and I will keep your family in mine.
